Quick Start Guide

However you're arriving at NetworkOS, the first step is the same: log in. From there, your path depends on why you're here.

Once you're in, pick the section below that matches what you're doing.

For New Members

You've been added to a Workspace that's already in use — your team's data and past work are already there. Here's how to get from "just logged in" to doing real work.

Ask Terminal something

You'll land in Terminal — this is a conversation, not a dashboard. You don't need to click around to find anything first: your Workspace is already reasoning across your team's data, so you can ask it a real question right away.

You'll get a data-backed answer pulled from what your team has already put into NetworkOS — not a blank search box.

Any conversation or output you generate is private to you by default. Save it — to your Workspace, or into a Mission — and your team can access and build on it too.

Try an Agent Skill

You can ask Terminal a question directly, or open the slash command menu to invoke a specific Agent Skill for something more structured. Try /research on something relevant to your work and see the difference — or try /person-summary or /organization-summary on a Record you're curious about.

Find a Record

Search for a person, organization, or event in the system — a colleague, a partner, a company your team tracks. This is the fastest way to see the Record layer in action and get a feel for what's already captured.

A few ways to find what you're looking for:

• Find / Create, in the sidebar (⌘K), for a direct lookup.
• @, in Terminal, to pull up the directory and reference something directly in a conversation.
• Network, in the main navigation, for a full table view of every Record in the system.

If you've been given edit access to at least one Record, you'll see My Records in the main nav, leading to everything you personally can edit.

For Admins

Your Workspace doesn't start as a blank slate. Collaboration.Ai sets up the foundation before you ever log in — Data Packs are already active, and your Agent Skills (both catalogue and any Managed skills built for your team) are already configured. Your job here is to review what's already in place and bring in what's specific to you.

1. Open Settings

Click your name or email in the bottom-left account menu, then select Settings.

2. Workspace: General

Confirm your Workspace name, description, and logo are set the way you want — all three are editable here.

3. Your Data: connect and create your records

Under Your Data:

• Integrations — connect your own systems if you need Record or File data flowing in automatically.
• Records & attributes — create Records manually, upload Files directly, and decide what you need to track beyond the standard fields.

Bulk data upload isn't self-serve here yet — for now, Collaboration.Ai handles bulk imports on your behalf.  This is coming to Settings in the future.

4. Our Data: review what's active

Under Our Data, Data packs are live and configured for your Workspace — review what's enabled and adjust as your team's needs change. Enrichment and Platform library aren't launched yet; you'll see them listed but not yet available.

5. Capabilities: manage your Agent Skills

Under Capabilities, both your catalogue (off-the-shelf) and any Managed Agent Skills built specifically for your team come already configured. Enable, disable, or adjust them as needed.→ 

6. Access: Users

Under Access, you can see everyone with access to your Workspace. Provisioning new members yourself isn't available yet — for now, Collaboration.Ai adds your team members when you're ready to bring them in. Self-serve invites are coming to this section in the future.

7. Back in the app: set up your first Mission

Head back to the app and create the Mission(s) your team needs, so there's already a home for their first pieces of work when they log in.
