Managing Views
Creating a View
Views let you capture and revisit specific perspectives on your data — whether you’re working in a graph or table.
They preserve your filters, layouts, and display settings, so you can return to them anytime.
Create a View from Table or Graph Displays
Open the display menu
Access display options directly from the interface.
Apply your filters and layouts
Refine your data by adjusting filters, sorting options, or layout preferences. These settings define what your View will capture.
Select “Save as View”
This opens the save dialog.
Add a title
Give your View a clear, descriptive name.
Choose where to save
Select between Workspace or Mission level.
Click save
A confirmation message will appear. Your new View is now available in the Workspace or Mission tab for quick access.
Note: Views can be created either at the Workspace level or within a specific Mission.
Save a View from Terminal Extraction
Select items from your Terminal output
Select the records you want to include from Terminal’s output.
Click “Save View”
Add a title
Name your View to make it easy to find later.
Choose where to save
Select between Workspace or Mission level.
Click save to confirm
A confirmation message will appear. Your new View is now available in the Workspace or Mission tab for quick access.
Accessing Views
You can open Views from multiple locations in NetworkOS Defense, depending on where you’re working.
From Workspace
In the left sidebar, click Views.
The Views page lists all Views across your workspace.
Click any row to open and load the corresponding View.
From a Mission
Open any Mission.
Go to the Views tab.
Open View
When a View opens, the associated table or graph loads automatically with your saved filters, layout, and display settings.
You can toggle between Table and Graph modes while keeping your filters active.
Note: You can move a View into or out of a Mission at any time through the Views top-level page.
Editing Views
Edit your Views
When you modify a View — such as adjusting filters, layouts, or display settings — NetworkOS Defense automatically detects unsaved changes.
A Save banner will appear at the top of your screen.
Save your changes
To update the existing View, click Save in the banner to overwrite your current version with the latest updates.
Create a new View
If you’d like to preserve the original View, select Save As New in the banner.
Enter a title, then click Save to confirm.
Your new version will appear alongside other Views in your Workspace or Mission tab.
