What's New in NetworkOS – May 2026

 May 11, 2026 Release

✨ New Features and Improvements

  • Take control of your organization records. Organization records brought in from the platform library are now yours to edit — refine or correct anything that doesn't fit your team's context.
  • Conversations stay consistent from start to finish. Tools available at the start of a session stay active the entire way through — no more losing capabilities halfway through.
  • Know when something didn't work. If the AI can't open a file or find a record you referenced, it says so — so you always know whether your request actually landed.
  • See what's new vs. what's already in your workspace. If your search returns organizations, you'll now see at a glance which are already in your workspace and which are new — so you can focus your attention without digging through records to figure out what you already have.
  • One consistent way to explore relationships. The Connections and Involvement section is now consistently displayed across Person, Organization, and Event pages — same experience, everywhere.

🛠️ Fixes

  • The Terminal now shows a clear message when an attached document is too large to process.
  • Record counts on your Account page now display accurately for Admins.
  • Attaching a file to a Terminal message no longer disables the send button
  • Custom Attribute field names now save reliably when pressing Enter
  • New organizations created manually or via CSV now appear correctly in your organization library

✨ New Features and Improvements

  • Search and find records by location. You can now search across the platform using location — search for records based on location and you will get proper results.
  • Manage your team from Workspace Settings. Workspace admins now have a dedicated Members & Access page in Workspace Settings to manage who's in the workspace and what they can do — all in one place.
  • Enrichment status is easier to track. Enrichment status now appears directly on record detail pages, so you can see at a glance whether a record's data has been enriched. Status indicators are also coming to table views for quick, inline visibility.
  • Smarter, more reliable data enrichment. The data enrichment engine now uses a more accurate matching approach, improving the quality and reliability of enriched records across the platform.
  • More flexible artifact handling. Artifacts are now automatically converted between formats based on their type, making it easier to work with files across different workflows.

🛠️ Fixes

  • AI summary actions are fully now available on all record types
  • Uploading files on record detail pages now works reliably
  • Studio output actions are now correctly visible to all users, not just admins
  • Platform org library item search on terminal now returns results as expected
  • Award searches now accept agency abbreviations as documented
  • SBIR data pack now correctly returns open topics

New Features and Improvements

  • Upload Artifacts in a single step. Picking your file and confirming now happen in one dialog, instead of moving through a multi-step flow.
  • Always see which file types you can upload. The upload screen now updates supported file types automatically, so the list is always accurate.
  • Your AI summaries stick around. The Artifact detail view shows previously generated summaries instead of regenerating them each time, so they load instantly when you return.
  • Download generated documents as PDF. System-generated Artifacts can now be downloaded as PDF directly from the Artifact detail view.
  • Richer Organization profiles. Organizations now carry contact information alongside the rest of their details.
  • A smoother sign-in. Your email carries over between sign-in screens, so you don't have to re-enter it as you move through the login flow.

🛠️ Fixes

  • Image uploads for People and Organizations work correctly again.
  • Saving an output as an Artifact no longer disturbs your Record table.
  • Website and social links are now validated when you create or edit a Person or Organization, so malformed URLs are caught early.
  • Your Artifact list now refreshes correctly when you switch Workspaces.
  • Custom-attribute updates apply reliably to existing Organizations on import, and the import mapping step no longer shows attributes you've already deleted.
