What's New in NetworkOS - July 2026

July 27, 2026 Release

This release brings a refreshed navigation experience across NetworkOS, a redesigned home for workspace administration, smarter conversations in Terminal, and a set of improvements to how you organize and import your data.

✨ New Features and Improvements

• Link Organizations into hierarchies. Set a parent Organization right from the record detail page, so subsidiaries, divisions, and parent companies stay connected.

• The Terminal opens to a full-screen welcome state. On a fresh load, you'll see a single "What are you working on?" prompt and a list of your Recent chats. Start something new, or pick up where you left off — once you send a message, the Terminal slides into the standard conversation view.
• One home for Workspace Settings. Admins can now manage everything about a Workspace — general settings, your data, external data sources, capabilities, and access — from a single, organized settings surface.
• See the full picture of every Agent Skill. Each Agent Skill now has its own detail page showing what it does, how it works, and what data it uses — with enable and disable controls right on the page. And if a skill needs a Data Pack that isn't enabled, you'll see a clear warning naming exactly what's required.
• EULA and Privacy Policy acceptance is now required at sign-up and first login. We keep a record of each user's acceptance. If either document changes, users are asked to re-accept before continuing.
• Deeper answers from your Records. Terminal can now pull the complete detail of a Record — including the full text of a document — so answers about a specific Person, Organization, or File are more thorough and better cited.

🛠️ Fixes

We also squashed a bunch of bugs to make your experience more reliable:

• Saved Studio Artifacts now display correctly for everyone in the Workspace — not just the person who created them — and source links in the Sources section open the right record instead of a "page not found" error. Data Pack sources are shown as plain text rather than incorrectly appearing clickable.
• Studio results no longer show duplicate rows when an Organization exists both in your Workspace and in the Platform Library — you'll see your Workspace record once.
• Picklist selections can now be cleared back to empty — clicking the X actually removes the selected item.

We also made a number of reliability, performance, and behind-the-scenes improvements — including faster search index updates when records are enriched — to keep everything running smoothly.

🛠️ Fixes

We also squashed a few bugs to make your experience more reliable:

• The EULA acknowledgment prompt no longer fires in workspaces where it isn't enabled, even for users who belong to multiple workspaces.
• The Summarize action now picks up content from files you've uploaded or referenced, instead of returning an empty result.

July 13, 2026 Release

✨ New Features and Improvements

• A new Data Pack for federal research. DTIC's public collection of unclassified DoD technical reports is now available as a Data Pack, giving you citable references for market research and acquisition-style workflows.

• Jump straight to the source. SAM.gov opportunity results now link directly to the listing on SAM.gov, and SBIR topic results include their sbir.gov link plus open and close dates.

🛠️ Fixes

• Searching research data by agency acronym (like "DOD" or "NASA") now returns matching results instead of coming back empty.
• SBIR data pack results now include open opportunities, not just closed ones, so newer items show up when you're looking for them.

July 06, 2026 Release

✨ New Features and Improvements

• Tap into defense research and federal grants data. Two new Data Packs are now available to enable in your Workspace: Grants.gov which surfaces publicly releasable U.S. defense technical reports for market research and acquisition-strategy work, and the DTIC Technical Reports which other in federal grant funding data. Both now searchable and can be referenced right alongside your existing Workspace data.

• A clearer way to accept our terms. Before accessing NetworkOS, users are now asked to explicitly acknowledge our EULA and Privacy Policy, giving everyone (and us) a clear, auditable record of consent instead of a passive link in the footer.

• Scope custom Organization fields to the right org types. Admins can now limit a custom Organization attribute to specific organization subtypes, so it only shows up where it's relevant instead of on every Organization in the Workspace.
• Artifacts now show who actually created them. The "Created By" column on Artifacts displays the person's name instead of their email address, making it easier to spot who made what.
• You'll know when our terms change. We now ask for a one-time acknowledgment of our EULA and Privacy Policy the first time you sign in — and only ask again if either document is updated — giving everyone (and us) a clear, auditable record of consent instead of a passive link in the footer.

🛠️ Fixes

• Deleting the only open conversation in Terminal no longer leaves a stray, broken tab behind.
• Connecting a file or Artifact to a Record now correctly shows its name in the confirmation.
• Saving Studio output to multiple Missions now creates one shared Artifact instead of a duplicate for each Mission.
• The save button in Studio now correctly disables after your output is saved, preventing accidental duplicate saves.
• Workspace Settings now shows the correct member count, matching what you see on the Members & Access page.
• Organization Records no longer show a duplicated website field.
