Your Workspace: the container for all of it

Everything you do in NetworkOS lives inside a Workspace — the secure container that holds your organization's data, intelligence, and work. From the moment your Workspace is set up, it's already connected to your data and reasoning across it. You're not starting from a blank slate — the data is there, and the work is already underway in the background.

The Knowledge Layer: what your Workspace reasons against

Everything NetworkOS does for you is grounded in data. Your Workspace reasons against two distinct layers:

• Your Data — the proprietary layer: your Records (people, organizations, events) and your Files (reports, rosters, capability statements, briefs). It belongs to your Workspace, never leaves it, and is what makes the intelligence specific to you instead of generic.
• External Data Sources — the curated layer Collaboration.Ai provides: Data Packs, the Platform Organization Library, and Enrichment. Research your team would otherwise do by hand, done once and available to every question you ask.

The two layers work together. Ask Terminal about a vendor, and it combines what your team knows — your Records, your Files, your past work — with what the platform knows — registrations, awards, contracts, curated context. Every answer draws on both, and cites which layer, and which specific source, it came from.

How NetworkOS does the work: Agent Skills

Your Workspace is an intelligent layer from the moment it's set up — conversational, connected to your data, and already reasoning across it. That's true whether or not a single Agent Skill is turned on. Ask a question, get a data-backed answer: that's the Workspace doing its job, not something you have to unlock first.

Agent Skills are what take that from reactive to proactive. They're chained, configured workflows — built around a defined process — that turn a request into a sharp, actionable result every time, instead of a one-off answer.

There are two kinds available in your Workspace:

• Catalogue Agent Skills — off-the-shelf and baked into the platform, available to every Workspace out of the box.
• Managed Agent Skills — built and configured by Collaboration.Ai for your Workspace specifically, scoped to a need unique to your program.

Where you actually do the work: Terminal

Terminal is your primary interface with all of this. It's conversational — you're not filling out forms or clicking through menus, you're telling NetworkOS what you need in natural language, and it goes to work. Expand any output into Studio to review, refine, and save it.

Where the work accumulates: Missions

Your Workspace is already structured and collaborative — work you do here is saved and accessible to your team. A Mission lets you go a layer deeper: a focused space scoped to a specific thread of work, holding the Artifacts and Files relevant to that thread so everything stays together.
