Google Drive
The Google Drive integration connects your existing documents directly to NetworkOS, making your workspace smarter and more connected.
Once connected, NetworkOS can securely ingest and analyze documents from selected Google Drive folders, transforming them into Artifacts.
These artifacts become instantly searchable and actionable inside NetworkOS.
What you can do
With Google Drive connected, you can:
- Automatically ingest files from selected Drive folders into NetworkOS.
- Discover documents through Terminal.
- Preview and interact with documents directly in your workspace.
Supported Drive types
NetworkOS supports syncing folders from the following Google Drive types:
- My Drive: Your personal Google Drive folders can be connected and synced directly to NetworkOS.
- Shared Drives: Team or organization-level Shared Drives are also supported and can be synced just like personal folders.
Note: Folders that have been shared with you individually (found under "Shared with me" in Google Drive) are not supported for syncing. If you need access to files in a shared folder, ask the owner to move them to a Shared Drive or to your My Drive.
How to connect Google Drive folders to NetworkOS
Follow these steps to connect your Google Drive folders and sync files seamlessly with NetworkOS.
- In the left-hand navigation, click Data & Integrations.
- Under Available Integrations, find Google Drive.
- On the Google Drive detail page, toggle Enable for workspace. The first time you enable it, NetworkOS will prompt you to sign in.
- A Google login window will appear. Sign in with the account that holds the files you want to connect.
After connecting, your Google Drive integration appears with an Active status badge on the Google Drive detail page, accessible from the Connected Integrations section of the Data & Integrations page
Manage your Google Drive sync after setup
The Google Drive page is organized into the following sections:
Missions Section
Each mission you've added folders to appears as a collapsible row showing the folder count.
Expand a mission to see its folder list. Use the + button on a mission row to add another folder, or use the three-dot menu on any folder to Pause or Remove it.
Workspace Section
Folders synced directly to your workspace (not tied to a mission) are listed here. Use Add folder to sync a new workspace-level folder, and the three-dot menu to Pause or Remove existing folders.
About Section
The About section surfaces integration metadata: data sources, update frequency (e.g., Real-time), last sync time, and the data types included.
