Happy New Year! We've been hard at work refining your NetworkOS experience. The following releases bring smoother interactions across the application to help you work faster and more intuitively. Here's what's new:

January 29, 2026 Release

✨ New Features and Improvements

  • Visualize your network with the My Network graph. A dedicated graph view shows all your connections—people and organizations—in one visual map so you can understand your network structure at a glance.

  • Central file management. See all your files in one view through the new workspace artifact table. Filter, search, and manage artifacts across your entire workspace so you can organize and find what you need faster.

  • Visual mission icons. Recognize missions instantly with custom icons displayed throughout the interface—no more reading names to figure out where you are.

  • Smarter navigation. We redesigned the left sidebar to help you move through your workspace more intuitively. Your missions now feature sub-navigation and better breadcrumbs—making it easier to stay oriented as you navigate complex projects.

  • Refreshed visual components across the application. Buttons, navigation elements, and icons now follow a unified design system. This makes the interface easier to scan and reduces visual noise as you move through different parts of the platform.

🛠️ Fixes

  • Terminal now shows clear warning messages when your input exceeds the 10,000 character limit, so you understand why text was truncated instead of wondering what went wrong.

  • Confirmation messages now use a dark text on a light background, eliminating the issue of hard-to-read white-on-white success notifications.

  • Saving Organization lists as Views now works correctly. When you select organizations and click "Save as View," all your selected records carry through to the confirmation screen instead of dropping to zero.

  • Updates to people and organizations now process reliably. Backend hooks run correctly so changes propagate through the system without errors

✨ New Features and Improvements

  • Create records without losing context. When you create a new record while working within a Mission, it automatically inherits that Mission context—no more manual field entry or switching back and forth.

  • Clearer connections when linking records. When searching to connect or disconnect records, results now show record-type icons (People, Organizations, Events, Artifacts). This makes it easier to choose the right record quickly, and eliminates guessing.

  • Simplified single-page Views. Views now display their overview and associated records together on a single page. This reduces navigation and makes it easier to understand what a View contains at a glance.

  • Clickable citations in research outputs. In-text citation numbers in research outputs are now clickable links that jump straight to the full reference—making it easier to verify sources and dig deeper into your research.

  • Consistent link behavior. Clicking a URL field now consistently opens the link. Editing remains available by clicking the field container or using the edit icon, making link interactions clearer and more reliable across the app.

  • Larger graphs for deeper exploration. Graph views now support larger node counts, allowing you to explore more complex networks without running into previous graph size limits.

🛠️ Fixes

  • File uploads now keep their original filenames throughout the workflow, so it’s always clear what you’re working with.

  • Long attribute values fully display on record detail pages instead of being cut off—everything wraps neatly so you can see the full content.

  • Organization search in Person records works more reliably when names are similar.

  • Create-New modals scroll correctly on PC screens, so all actions remain accessible.

  • Artifacts no longer appear in record-connection search results, reducing noise and making it easier to find the records you want.

January 9, 2026 Release

✨ New Features and Improvements

  • Search and reference artifacts with ease. You can now quickly find and reference artifacts using Command+K — the same lookup used throughout the app — and mention them in Terminal conversations with @-mentions to bring relevant context into your work.

  • Cleaner, more polished graph experience. Your graph just got a visual upgrade. Clearer colors and smoother interactions make relationships easier to explore.

  • Streamlined record preview. A simplified preview panel makes it faster to get where you need to go. Quickly jump to viewing full record details, graph views, and downloading artifacts in one click.

  • AI-generated summaries for Studio results. Search results now include helpful context explaining why records were returned, and that context stays with the results when you save them.

  • Better notifications. Toast messages now look cleaner, more informative, and supported in dark mode.

  • Terminology updates for clarity. We've updated our language throughout the platform: "Project" is now "Mission," making the product easier to understand and navigate.

🛠️ Fixes

  • Improved how you connect people, organizations, and work—so relationship building is faster and more intuitive.

  • Organization research now retrieves richer details for better intelligence gathering.

  • Improved reliability of data syncing for Google Drive connections.

Thank you for being part of the NetworkOS Defense community. We're constantly listening to your feedback and working to make the platform better every day.
