Accepting Our Terms
When you'll see the policy acceptance screen, how to agree, and what happens if you don't.
The first time you enter a Workspace, we'll ask you to do one quick thing before you dive in: review and accept our Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy.
What it looks like
Right after you log in, a full-screen prompt appears — before the Workspace loads. It's the same for everyone, and it only shows up when there's something for you to accept.
- Give the policies a look — the Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy links open in a new tab, so you won't lose your place.
- Check the "I agree" box.
- Click Agree and continue — and you're in.
"What if I hit Cancel?"
No harm done — it just signs you out. The policies cover how the platform is used, so we do need a yes before you can enter. Whenever you're ready, sign back in and the screen will be waiting right where you left it.
Will I see it again?
Rarely. Just two occasions:
- We updated a policy. You'll get the screen once more on your next visit so you can accept the new version.
- You joined another Workspace. Acceptance is per Workspace, so a new one may ask once too.
That's it — it never appears during your day-to-day work.
Good to know
Your acceptance is recorded with the document version and date, so there's always a clear answer to "which terms did I agree to, and when." And you never need the prompt to re-read anything — both policies live at collaboration.ai/aup and collaboration.ai/privacy-policy, and in your account menu in the app.
